Message from the Dean
Dear students,
College of Medicine, Misr University for Science and Technologywas founded in 1996 and celebrated Silver Jubilee of 25 years of excellence at 2021. It is a private sector educational medical institution of high reputation; not only attracting you as Egyptian students with highest scores in pre-university education, but also for Middle East and Africa.
Our main goal as college team is directed to prepare “Tomorrow’s Doctors”, where a compassionate safe patient care is a priority. Following national and international standards of medical education, competent professional graduate as a health care provider, promoter, scholar scientist and lifelong learner and researcher capable of community service is our social accountability model.
In the recent years 2017- 2018, a paradigm shift to competency based medical education created a focus on student centred collaborative learning, learning in context and early clinical training via state of the art simulation lab, Egyptian knowledge bank facilities and international interactive platforms as well as integrated case based learning and more.
Fully equipped, and well operated University Hospital “Sauad Kafafi Teaching Hospital; SKH” enabled us to extend our clinical teaching experience in medical education, which is practiced by teams of clinicians and healthcare staff, who come together in examination rooms, causality, ORs or ICUs to introduce integrated patient care and therapy. This facilitates your transition as medical graduates from passive to active learning by team-based learning and constructive feedback.
In addition to scheduled medical care and community services, learning opportunities are created through “Outreach Programs” to the hospital catchment areas and public schools and sometimes even to remote demanding areas through portable hospital when it necessitates.
Also, our programs promote early research skills and competitions in national and international students’ conferences. A mandatory published research article is your graduation project to assure gaining research competency.
Worth mentioning, during the crisis of COVID 19 pandemics, virtual and distant learning and assessment were conducted successfully engaging all our medical graduates in more than 27 places in different Egyptian Governorates and internationally in Arabic and African countries and one case was in USA.

Our Policy
MUST College of Medicine was born strong and efficient. The experienced professors in the college and the support of all the required facilities yielded a leading institution in this vital educational field. Each student has the opportunity to perform the essential training in a comfortable and caring atmosphere. Highly-equipped laboratories, museums, dissecting rooms, multimedia labs, and supply of library materials assist the student to follow the most recent advances in his/her field of interest. The worldwide information resources which is available through several linkages with prestigious libraries on North America and Europe allow the students to acquire advanced knowledge. These resources eventually allow the students to interact with a range of available teaching, research and practical studies. The clinical training in the final years takes place in the University’s Hospital, which is highly-equipped with surgical theatres, intensive care unit, and all outpatient specialized clinics. Also, Radiology Department and clinical laboratories complete the investigations and clinical teaching program. After graduation, students will be appointed as ‘house officers’ for one year in the University Hospital or in other governmental hospitals. Currently, there are more than 2,000 students enrolled in The college of Medicine and more than 300 qualified instructors involved in teaching activities. Students, instructors and the staff from the Dean’s Office guarantee a sound research-based education and promote academic career development. Our entire academic staff is fully committed to provide medical research and teaching. Along with our University’s Hospital we operate in an internationally prestigious and dynamic environment.
