One of my most favourite sweets during winter is Pinni 😍If made right, it's the most deliciously rich sweets you'll ever have. Loaded with ghee, atta and dry fruits, having a warm pinni is like a comforting hug on a cold winter day!! 😋😋In Konkani, Pinni means small or little and in Telugu Pinni is your aunt (Chachi). I don't know if it means anything else in any other languages, but coming to Pop Culture Neena Gupta ji did justice to Pinni in the short film by the same name in the series 'Zindagi In Shorts' on Netflix You can even see Saif Ali Khan saying, "Motichoor ke Laddoo kaun khata hai? Ek kaam karo 10 kilo Pinniyan le aao' in the film Hum Tum.Over the years, with all the fancy sweets taking up space in the sweet boxes on Diwali and other winter festivals, getting good Pinni has become rare. Last month, our neighbours, while celebrating Lohri, gave us a box of Pinni and it has made me really happy❤️❤️I don't mind putting on a few kilos, if it comes from these bite-sized pieces of comfort and joy ✨✨Which is that one sweet that you really enjoy?? Let me know your memories of it in the comments 👇🏻#CitizenKamath #SaltPepperFoodGuide #foodlovers #indiansweets #sundaythoughts

    Due to Daman's status as a Union Territory, alcohol prices are comparatively higher than in other regions. However, with recent awards, there is an anticipated surge in alcohol consumption, leading to increased profits for sellers. Many individuals from Gujarat are likely to travel to Daman to purchase alcohol due to its more favorable pricing. The following is a comparison of the prices of a specific whisky brand, Indri, in various locations:- Indri Whisky Price in Daman (750ml): ₹3800 to ₹3850- Indri Whisky Price in Goa (750ml): ₹3100 to ₹3200- Indri Whisky Price in Chandigarh: ₹2500 to ₹2700- Indri Whisky Price in Rajasthan: ₹3470 to ₹3560- Indri Whisky Price in Madhya Pradesh: ₹2900 to ₹3000- Indri Whisky Price in Maharashtra (750ml): ₹4500 to ₹4600- Indri Whisky Price in Gujarat (Not provided in the list)This discrepancy in pricing incentivizes individuals from Gujarat to visit Daman for their alcohol purchases, contributing to the region's economic activity and the sellers' profitability.

    Image Source : INDIA TV Akshaya Tritiya BhogMother Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu are worshiped on the day of Akshaya Tritiya. On this day people buy metals like gold, silver and brass. Worship is done so that there is no shortage of money and grains in the house. On this day, to please Goddess Lakshmi, her favorite dishes are offered. In such a situation, you can prepare Kheer and offer it to Goddess Lakshmi as her favorite offering. Mother Lakshmi loves Kheer very much, people also offer Kheer on the day of Diwali. Making rice kheer is very easy. During summer days, cold kheer also enhances the taste of food. Know the recipe? <!-- /8323530/Khabar_Desktop_VDO_1X1 -->How to make rice kheer, note down the recipeMaking rice kheer is very easy, but for this you need to know the right proportion.Reduce the quantity of rice in kheer and the rice should be well cooked only then it tastes delicious.For this, take about half a cup of rice and add 1 cup of water and half a cup of milk to it and boil it.Here we are telling you how to make kheer in a cooker, so cook the rice for about 2-3 whistles.Rice has to be cooked on very low flame, so that it does not burn and melts well.Now after the pressure of the cooker is released, add milk to the rice and then keep boiling it while stirring.When the rice and milk thickens and mixes well, add sugar and cardamom powder to it.Now finely chop your favorite dry fruits and mix them in the kheer, but do not add raisins.Chironji tastes very good in rice kheer, you must add it.Do not make the kheer too thick as it becomes even thicker when it cools.Offer this kheer to Goddess Lakshmi on the day of Akshaya Tritiya and eat it yourself.Latest Lifestyle News function loadFacebookScript(){ !function (f, b, e, v, n, t, s) { if (f.fbq) return; n = f.fbq = function () { n.callMethod ? n.callMethod.apply(n, arguments) : n.queue.push(arguments); }; if (!f._fbq) f._fbq = n; n.push = n; n.loaded = !0; n.version = '2.0'; n.queue = []; t = b.createElement(e); t.async = !0; t.src = v; s = b.getElementsByTagName(e)[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(t, s); }(window, document, 'script', '//https://lnkd.in/dNCd7S6K'); fbq('init', '1684841475119151'); fbq('track', "PageView");}window.addEventListener('load', (event) => {setTimeout(function(){ loadFacebookScript();}, 7000);});

    🍺My Diwali Alcohol RuleDiwali is here. Pre-Diwali parties have started: Khaana-Peena, Taash aur Mauj. And then, we sulk and feel guilty.Don’t worry, be happy. Main hoon na….😋✌️This week, I will share my three Diwali hacks that will allow you to not just have a happy Diwali but a healthier one, GUILT-free. And no, I won’t ask you to drink less, eat less, or avoid mithai! NAH!Just try and follow these:1. Remember, Alcohol is for pleasure. No matter what anyone says about wine, whiskey, or more.2. Avoid Beer, and cheap Wine (=bad grapes). When in doubt, switch to Whiskey, Vodka, Tequila, Gin, and Champagne.3. Don’t add Cola, Tonic Water, Fruit Juice. Drink it neat, with water or soda.4. Avoid eating too much carbs, starchy foods, and sweets with Alcohol.🥃 Last rule: It is Diwali, enjoy. And drink responsibly. And don’t drink and drive. ❌ Stay tuned for my Mithai Rule, coming up on Wednesday🍰#diwali #diwaliparty #sweets #alcohol #diwalihack #health #longevity
